Recently, a Saudi journalist who was a permanent resident of the US, was killed at a Saudi consulate in Turkey. Before this event, the Saudis were going to buy 5 percent of Endeavor for $400 million. the Emirate of Abu Dhabi also owns 10% of the UFC itself.

"Sources say paperwork is being drawn up that would terminate the deal for the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund, which was created by the government to back projects at home and abroad, to take a 5-10 percent stake in Endeavor.

Earlier in the day, Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel said he was "monitoring" the situation and stressed that he is "personally … really concerned" but would not commit to ending the relationship, which represented a sizable chunk of Endeavor’s future balance sheet. "

" Endeavor isn't the only Hollywood entity doing business with the Saudi government. AMC, Imax, World Wrestling Entertainment and others all have significant entanglements. Most have either refused to comment on the Khashoggi situation or issued statements that they were "monitoring the situation.""

" WME does, however, represent a number of high-profile journalists like Ronan Farrow, Soledad O'Brien and Joe Scarborough. Sources say many had been putting pressure on Emanuel to cut ties with Saudi Arabia."

Those fuckin Saudi’s using sports as a billionaire’s playground once again

Yea the fall out is huge

What a fucking gooftard Prince cuntwad is

I hope he “disappears” in some embassy one day

The hypocrisy is absurd.

They were fine with Saudis financing terrorism and proxy wars, bombing Yemen, and just being the most backwards cunts on the face of the earth, but kill one journo and that's when everyone freaks out.

Lol hollywood jews in bed with the saudis, the shit people do for money.

Yeah lot of companies are either backing out of Saudi deals or getting big heat over social media. WWE has a big event there in 2 weeks that people are trying to get them to cancel. They'll lose a pile of money for this quarter if they do. Think virgin also pulled out of a billion dollar deal.

Good.

This type of stuff matters. Cut all their stakes. And it's quite amusing that they couldn't come up with a better excuse and just rehashed a Russian one.

Facepalm.

Don't think kill gays and shit? Why is everyone freaking out about 1 journalist?

Only because of the media heat. Give it five months and they'll be back at the table shaking hands and kissing ass.

It's not just bad that Western companies deal with Saudi and UAE who have a horrible track record in everything. From the other side, it's just as slimey and disgusting that the Saudis/UAE constantly align themselves with Israeli linked businesses (like WME), or just funding things in the West in general while destabilizing their own neighbors through proxy warfare and dictatorships and few call them out for it.

You're absolutely right. We should just ignore all cases of Saudi barbarism.

Been this way for a few decades now. Last i was reading some article alleging UAE linked businessmen have been buying property in Jerusalem and then handing them over to Israel. I don't get how these people sleep at night, and why the general Muslim world remains oblivious to this shit. The Saudis and Emiratis get a pass for everything, even enslaving and sodomizing people's children.

Had to pull out of my $10.35 deal also.

That is the larger question that must be answered. If we're gonna create standards it's sad seeing people skirt them to appease a connect, cause that's what they truly are, not friends, just a resource and the U.S. a weapons connect.

When it came to the American civil right to keep and bear arms, both Bank of America and Citibank cited ethics when refusing to do business with some vendors in that realm. Surely they'll soon be cutting off anyone with ties to Saudi Arabia too.
