Is there an actual source to the PPV/Fight pass rumor?

I keep reading posts here and other places about PPVs moving to Fight pass in 2019. But I've never seen an actual article on it. What gives? Is it just mere speculation?

Nah man, if they're in the business to make money, and ppl keep paying for PPV, that won't change.

Its very doubtful they'll try to copy&paste WWE's business plan.

But, if McGreggor/Khabib sells under a million PPVs, that might change.

Pretty sure they just need to cut way back on PPV cards. With all the free cards plus ESPN+ and DAZN, I'm not spending a dime on anymore PPV's.
(Yes, I'll continue to stream PPV cards from my mom's basement)

They get paid hundreds of million each year by a network for trash content. Why would they move PPV over to fightpass?

There is zero chance of that happening. The UFC will ride the ppv train until it is no longer profitable.
