WMMA version of Conor vs Khabib?

I think Tatiana Suarez vs Rose Namajunas would be the closest thing. Rose is a little more well rounded than Conor but other than that it’s very similar.

Just like Conor either crushes or get me crushed by Khabib, Rose either dominates or gets crushed by Tatiana.

Both would be/are favored to beat the current champ.

I see Rose dropping Tatiana and making her tap to strikes if they fight.

I share your view for the most part. But I don't believe Rose would get the chance to drop Suarez, just like I don't see Conor dropping Khabib.

I agree that Rose’s striking is far above Tatiana’s, but Rose has shown in the past, that when pressured, especially by a wrestler, she is not at her best. I would enjoy any fight in the Rose-Andrade-Tatiana round-robin, on its own merit, regardless of whether it’s comparable to any male MMA fight.

Don't disrespect Conor or Khabib by comparing them to WMMA.

Conor is a striking specialist. Rose was a grappling specialist who developed into a good striker. Completely different.

I suspect that both Rose and Conor will get mauled. But Conor's best chance is to catch Khabib on the feet. Rose's best chance is to catch Tatiana in a sub, either off her back or in a scramble.

Tatiana vs. JJ would be a better analogy.

Rose does not have one shot KO power. Nor does she have the timing and movement or head games. But I'd say she's more athletic.
