Does this confirm to GSP fans that Whittaker really would've smashed him? And it's smart that he vacated to the real king so quickly

There are GSP fans who don't think Whittaker is a significant favorite in that fight?

He said that in terms of the ability to absorb damage and keep fighting. Bisping was the most DURABLE he's faced.

GSP is NOT a MW.

GSP haters =

pre-USDA beef Hendricks was his toughest opponent.

Fighter who actually fought the guys says he was his toughest fight. But random sherdope knows better....

Age ringrust motivation etc play a part as well. All sort of factors effect how tough a fight is.

Bisping was turning the fight in his favour. GSP had to finish when he had the opportunity.

Not too surprising. Bisping was a bit of a weak champ but he's still a big, tough MW. I'm glad GSP knocked the shit out of him.

Hard to say how GSP would have done against Bobby though, I wish he stuck around to at least give it a try.

Guy got dropped and choked out in three rounds, unlike some of the other people George has fought.

Toughest opponent? Nah.

The irony is that whittaker use to be at welterweight and when was there nobody would have picked him to beat gsp. Nobody would have said he's too big for gsp. Now that he's at middleweight he's magically become an unsinkable fight for gsp yet he hasn't put on any size and simply sharpened his moves while using the same tactics. Nothing special that gsp hasn't seen, faced, and smashed already

GSP is lying.

He is saying that to distract from the fact that he cherry picked Bisping.

He knows he needs to say that in order to make it seem like finally moving up to MW was a difficult proposition.

Had he moved to MW against Anderson in his prime it would have been a different story.

Hell, it would have been more relevant against Rockhold or Weidman too.

GSP also said Dan Hardy will be his most dangerous opponent back in the day. This was right after the Alves fight.

Makes sense. Bisping is a former 205'er. I'm sure Michael Bisping hits a whole lot harder than most welterweights, even if he's not considered a power puncher.

GSP likely said that in the heat of the moment. He also said Condit was the toughest guy he faced as soon as the fight was over.

When asked recently he gave totally different answers.
