Who is yours? Let me start with 2:

Marcin Held:
Racks up an impressive 22-4 record before joining the UFC.
* Loses against Diego Sanchez in a winnable fight. Terrible gameplan.
* Gets robbed against Joe Lauzon in a fight even his opponent said it was Held.
* Is winning a clear 20-18 fight against Hadzovic and gets a fluke KO loss in the 3rd (1rst KO loss).
* Gets an underrated win in his 4th fight against an unknown guy. Haqparast, his opponent proved to be very legit today and will be a good win in retrospect for Held.
* Signs with ACB. Gets a win.
* ACB seems to fold

Who is yours?

Ken shamrock
Near heart attack vs fujita
Silly rules Severn 2nd fight

I think his 1rst win over Chandler was a robbery.

The 2nd one was super legit tho.
Had a tremendous hype behind him going into the UFC. Has a style tailor made to compete in their LW division and be a top contender, if not a champion. Never saw a fighter with so much promise fall so flat. Wins that boring fight against Pearson and then gets finished three times and cut. Moves to PFL, immediately gets a win. It's a sad, sad story, similar in some ways to Held's.

Brock Lesnar.

If it weren't for diverticulitis - a disease which is known to impair fighting abilities - he would have been the GOAT.

Yeah. Maybe he was a bad matchup for Chandler.. IDK.

Still feel bad for his loss to brazilian Cowboy. Dude was like 6 pounds over the limit.

The Lentz and Charle Oliveira loses just showed he does not defend subs good.

But he is the favorite to win the PFL tournament... it remains to be seen if they pay the 1 million purse but that would be awesome for him.

Gustafsson. Lost 2 highly contested decisions to #1 GOAT and #2 GOAT, yet never appears in GOAT discussions.

Speaking of...if they actually make good on payment, do we see stronger fields in subsequent tournaments?

all the fighters who were supposed to fight for the title but took another fight and lost after dana made them "save the card"

Hope so. It could be a cool yearly tradition to have in MMA.

It's hard to get viewers though, even though people seem to like it.

At this point I'm hoping that as long as they stay the course and make good on the things they say that viewership will grow. It is a fun product to watch, even with mainly fighters with no names. If they really give million dollar payouts, hopefully they pull in some high profile fighters to fill the fields, and more people tune in. Everything so far has been a ton of fun to watch, but it is obvious that some of the fighters are just bodies to fill spots and really have no business being there (dude in the showcase fight from the card the other night).

I'm with you. The PFL product has a lot of potential.
