After over 10 years, out of prime Pride fighters are still top 10 in some weight classes?

There's Shogun, and then there's...Overeem and Hunt? Is that it?

Well who the fuck "after 10 years" out of prime UFC fighters are still top 10?

Actually it's not very interesting

All of the below have at least one fight in Pride and are still in the top ten:
Werdum
Overeem
Hunt
Shogun
Mousasi
Lawler
Okay. I mean guys like Lawler having 1 fight in pride doesn't normally define them as pride fighters, but if that's your definition.

Actually thats pretty terrible for the weight class in question.

To me, this just illustrates how thin light heavyweight and heavyweight are.

No because rankings don't matter

Actually thats pretty terrible for the weight class in question.
kind of this...
If those guys are still active (and they are), then they should be out of their prime by now (which they are).
The fact they are still top contenders merely exposes how thin those divisions really are...

That is interesting.

Always pullin for the Pride alum, that era was so special in so many ways.

Just cause someone has a long career doesn't always mean they had the most successful career. Look at MJ in basketball. Dude did not play many seasons at all, he just won all the time.
