From June 27, 2010–today, who has been the best heavyweight in mma?

Stipe? Overeem? Werdum? Cain? Cormier? Bork? Ronda?

What say you, Sherdog?
I’m not sure if this has been debated to death
it has
but I’m curious as to what the general consensus is around here. Heavyweight is at an all time low and somehow keeps getting worse. does anyone really stand out above the rest?

If a mod could throw a poll in here that would be fantastic. I’m sure I’m missing some good choices.

Werdum... he's been very active and his win over Cain is more impressive than anything anybody else has done.

Nobody has been able to outclass him... he just got caught twice and lost a couple of decisions in fights where he was doing more damage.

Ubereem (pre-Brock) or DC... I would say Cain is up there but his injuries fucked him over

1. DC
2. Stipe
3. Cain
4. JDS
5. Werdum

Damn, Stipe went from getting all the props in the world to getting none.

Stipe... Overeem... or Cormier. Guess it depends on opinion. But would be Velasquez if he stayed healthy...

Who doesn't belong here and why?

Ans: Overeem. Never won the big Championship.

In terms of skills... I'd say Sea Level Cain, or maaaaybe pre-Drug Test Failure Overeem.
In terms of achievements, Stipe.

Gotta go with Cain, that man was a tank until JDS came, shot got interesting, I hope they fight again
