Even when Jason kept flopping to his back, he won from there too.

Knock down 2x round one and wobbled round two, totally dominated on the feet.

Terrible terrible showing, judges on drugs.

How did Knight win off of his back? By holding on to a rubber guard?

Knight gave that fight away imo and for sure will regret his decision-making when he watches the fight later on. You manage to hurt your opponent and what do you do? Well hold him in a stalling position, of course.

Totally dominated on the feet?? Wtf if you dont count the two times Knight dropped Amirkhani, he was actually winning the stand up exchanges..

Yes, dude didn't win that fight. He got some take downs that's it.

1st round knight 2nd and 3rd to Amirkhani.

Mr Iraq did nothing standing or on the ground. Knight dropped him and controlled him on the ground while looking for subs.

Terrible decision.

Yeah, didn't dominate on the feet. Makwan landed more, Knight just landed harder (or Makwan has a shittier chin, whatever) a few times.

Knight lost that fight for being stupid. He could've easily won, but decided to stall and stall and stall, all from the bottom. Why would you think judges will award holding on for dear life on the bottom with a win?

Terrible decision.

The only real sub attempt was in the first round, which Knight won by those knockdowns anyway. He lost the other two, by doing absolutely nothing.

Yeah he was sooooo aggressive with his subs lmao. Knight fighted like the retarded hick that he sounds like

1 judge scored it 30-27 for Knight. The other 2 gave 2 rounds to Makwan.

Exactly. Makwan dominated before he got caught with them two uppercuts which forced him to different kind of fight. Still very good outcome, performance & rise up at rankings.

Exactly. All knight did was play telephone from guard and hope he would miraculously catch Markhani.

I think you even know yourself he didn't win that by using that vague sentence/reasoning as to why Knight won.

His corner were screaming at him to use elbows when Makwan was in his guard and he didn't. Knight looked drained during the week doing interviews and the last take down Makwan got, he didn't try and defend it and attempt to transition it into a submission, like he had done earlier, when they went to the ground.

Knight was one clean punch away from finishing him I believe, you can’t just rubber guard for nearly most of the two rounds and expect to win the fight, he really should have made it a slug fest and dirty boxed a bit and he would of probably caught him and finished it

THIS!
How the fuck did one judge score it 30-27 Knight?! That is absolutely bonkers!
He spent one round hanging onto rubber guard and nothing else. Knight won round 1, Makwan 2 and 3, for me. No robbery.

Makwan showed variety and control
Dude needs to work on his defensive boxing, his offense is getting better

Knight's problem is the same as Charles oliveira's in my opinion. Both are really well rounded but too willing to play guard so when they don't get the sub they lose a decision
