Flights to Kiev for the UEFA Champions league final between Real Madrid and Liverpool have been cancelled leaving hundreds of Liverpool supporters stranded at home.

At least now they can focus on Wonderboy-Till, which takes place later on in the day.

Now the UFC can't blame the UEFA Champions league final for a poor gate.

Here's the official announcement.

Has there been anything written on poor ticket sales for the Liverpool card that makes you say this?

Usually the first time in a new area (especially with a hometown main event) tickets go fast. Would've thought tickets be gone or almost gone by now.

why would anyone that was willing to pay £2,000.00 to go and see the game in person then choose not to watch the game on the TV to go and see the UFC instead?

They can try and boost the attendance by playing the CL final on the big screen, that might work.

They’re on different days.

This sold out within 5 minutes of going on sale

If Liverpool win the champions league half the people who have tickets for UFC will still be too fucked up to even get to the Echo

Honestly if Liverpool were playing Burnley at late kick off I still doubt anyone would give a rats ass about this card

The fans in that arena will be from throughout the UK

When I went to the London show there was pretty much people from
Every part of the UK and Ireland and a lot of other European people aswell
