Why is there no 1080p on Fight Pass?

I rewatched all of Hector Lombard fights and even the more recent ones like against Anthony Smith are only in 720p

it requires a fair amount of bandwidth and hosting power to be able to stream 1080P to massive amounts of people at the same time.

fightpass has never been great on the technical side so that is probably just another example of the UFC "skimming" more profits by only paying for 720P capability.

Most likely because they seem to have trouble with bandwidth. People have complained about streams cutting off and shit for a while so they probably disallow 1080p and higher for that reason.

A lot of times when trying to watch on Fight Pass, the freaking Fight Night cards are "Blacked Out in My Area" and I can't even watch them without streaming.
