Yet they worked on Aldo, Poirer and others

Because floyd is a genuine combat genius who is undefeated and conor straight up tries to copy his shit

i'm pretty sure conor's skills defeated aldo, poirier, et al.

but his skills didnt match up well against one of boxing's greatest of all time.

The real question is.....how his games didnt affect Diaz?

Because Floyd was the better fighter. Aldo, Poirier, etc. weren't. Also Floyd knows a self promoter when he sees one.

Conors shtick was new to MMA but had been around in boxing before.

Because the skill level in boxing between Mayweather and Mcgregor is too great apart.

Mind games can't magically make up the difference between their boxing skills. Not to mention that Floyd had been there, and done that a million times before Conor.

Because he respected floyd and was scared. Hes not that way in MMA. Plus he doesn't have the masses on his side fighting Floyd, so his words weren't as strong, like in MMA. Plus he has no experience or highlights to fall back on in boxing and prove his shit talk, so it seemed more like a dog chasing a car.

In MMA hes backed everything up, had the crowds on his side, and has proven hes great. He couldn't do any of that fighting floyd in a boxing match. Because that's what floyd is.

Mayweather knew he had absolutely nothing to fear from McGregor. He carried McGregor in the fight. It was a complete mismatch and he knew that going in.

diaz bros are always taking it to that place, making it personal. its a gimmick for conor but it's life for them. nick talking shit to georges, nate flipping cowboy off between rounds, countless pre-fight scuffles, they wrote the book on that shit. who else has taunted conor and slapped him in the face repeatedly during a fight? and then when nate caught him with a sweet 1-2, did he move in for the kill? no he held his arms out and mocked conor. few moments later and conor was being rescued by another man

The gap on skills are to far apart

Normally when something is copied the original material is better. That is most definitely not the case here. If he was copying Floyd he would have made a career out of taking the easiest and least risky fights possible.

Conor went in to Floyds own house and took a shit in it.

He then invited Floyd over and the boy wanted no part of it.

Floyd won the boxing match conor won the war.
