Well, I created a thread about Maia being a legend in light of all the criticism that was aimed at his last fight, and I was surprised so many fans thought he wasn't, perhaps a group of new fans. But it got me thinking, who do you think are the legends of the sports?

The terms legend is really thrown around way too easily

No dick pill poppers or roiders deserve the term legend in my opinion

I'm sure this isn't complete, but something like this

OW: Royce, Sakuraba
HW: Fedor, Crocop, Nog, Coleman
LHW: Shogun, Randy, Chuck, Wandy
MW: Machida, Henderson (benefit of a doubt for TRT)
WW: GSP, Hughes

Some fighters get slowly forgotten... or slowly despised coz they stayed too long, then lose the legend status..
