They're not even close for a position to compare.

A fighter that has finished his prime career (on a higher note, but finished) and a fighter who hasn't picked his potential yet.

Khabib hasn't fought the top guys yet imo, GSP ran through all the top guys for years. Gaethje fought a tougher opponent in Eddie in his second ufc fight than Khabib has gotten to fight before or since his win against mj imo.

GSP was a complete martial artist that could beat other great fighters at their own game. He had no weak points to attack. Khabib is a specialist that has been able to survive on the specialty. It remains to be seen if Khabib can continue to do that as he defends his belt.

How do people put Khabib into GOAT after having one title fight. I'm not saying he can't be one of the best but cmon. Comparing him to GSP is an insult. GSP set up his takedowns by having better standup and mixing it up. Khabib looks like a fish out of water after his spam takedown starts getting stuffed. We must have a casual here
