At least Rogan is upfront about Conor being too big for the UFC to fire him

Well it’s pretty obvious. But you can’t expect the UFC to come right out and say it. It’s not exactly a good look for the image of a company to have a cowardly coked up freak show as your face. But he’s the biggest money maker they have.

But he’s retired anyway. No need to fire somebody that’s retired.

If they fire/release Conor, he's free to fight anywhere else and make money and strengthen the UFC's competition. It has nothing to do with Conor being too big for the sport, it's all about control and leverage. Right now the UFC has it all whether Conor fights or not.

I don't think any of UFC's competition can afford him <Lmaoo>

And really, WME is an entertainment company so they're basically going to put up with whatever he does as long as it gets people talking. Don't be surprised if his charges magically disappear

Seriously, you guys are making way to big of a deal in regards to Conor (imagine him in UFC 1). The UFC made Conor, not Conor made the UFC. He would still be on assistant living if not for the UFC. You'd think he would show appreciation but the man has no character. Fighters should help other fighters once they have achieved success. Not go on to twitter to cut other fighters trying to feed their own families.

He is a small man. He is very lucky there are weight classes.

I don't think anyone disagrees on that. But obviously Dana/WME/UFC won't officially say it.

At least Rogan will say what the most retard Sherdogger already knows! What a hero!

He probably wants to get dropped so he can make another 100m boxing Floyd again

He's right.

that's what you get by making a fighter too famous that he realized his leverage. the UFC made Mcg what he is but now that he knows what's his worth the can't do shit since Mcg can draw money.

No one is "too big" to be fired. Regardless of the job, the conditions of being fired are the same for everyone:

At the precise moment when you become a net liability instead of a net asset, you will be fired.

i.e. he's too big to be fired, but do go on professor.

How is the situation messed up? If you're making more money for a company than the rest of its employees combined, the company is going to treat you differently from everyone else. It's 100% normal, logical behavior.

Rogan has never been the Shill people on here like to pretend

He's not too big to be fired. They just figure he's still a net asset. Kevin Lee didn't make weight last weekend. He didn't get fired for it. That's not because he's "too big to be fired." It's because he's still a net asset.

Guys do things all of the time that the UFC disapproves of without getting fired. There's a very simple scale:

Let X represent the amount we thinks what you did is going to cost us.

Let Y represent the amount we think you can make for us.

X < Y = Not Fired.

X > Y = Fired.

Same rules hold true for every fighter on the roster.

Ronda Rousey
That was just the drugs talking.

In all seriousness he has said plenty of negative things about the ufc throughout the years, as well as claiming many outside fans buyers as better than the ones that were in the ufc at that time

The stage and the performer go hand in hand..but the stage takes second fiddle once you get to Conor's level. He's shown he can make money outside of them..they have'nt shown they can make the same amount without him. If is was true that the UFC made Conor..they would have made another one by now. Fighting is a one on one sport..why the hell should he look out for any guy that would punch him in the face for money at a moments notice. His only child is Conor jr. The rest of those fighters have every opportunity to win fights and help themselves..if you meant he should be handing out money fights to anybody that ask... Now if you mean, he should join/start a Union or Association to help get pay up and benefits or something like that...I completely agree. He is the one that could truly get that off the ground. If he signs up, he could get all the top fighters ..which means he could get everybody. Unfortunately..he would never consider it, because damn near all of them have talked shit to him..even before busgate

they always supported jon jones why would they fire conor?
