I'll go first:

Remember Brett Rogers? He was up and coming and people thought he was legits! He was 9-0 and undefeated and murked Arlovski in a 22 second match

10-0 and goes on to fight Fedor, giving Fedor a tough fight .. or maybe Fedor was in decline as this would be Fedor's last win for a bit

Then Brett got beat by reem and went to lost most of his fights, and things really took a turn with legal issues

What happened to this man  - his life went to hell

I'll just leave it at - go to Wikipedia and read up about the horrible legal issues and terrible things he did

Nick Diaz after beating BJ Penn.

Edit: Nick fought big names after this but looked awful in all of them.

Matt Serra after beating GSP

Gall after beating Punk

You guys are all words and no pictures

Come on guys

Agreed, how sad the rest of his career went

and i thought manbearpig was gonna proceed to waylay The Natural but i was wrong there!

Does Ray Mercer count?

If not, I'm going to go with Roy Nelson beating Cro Cop and Noguiera.

Seraldo Babalu really never rose above gatekepper status after beating the consensus (experts) #2 LHW all-time Shogun

He did fight for the actual LHW strap vs Chuck iirc but that was when the UFC lhw (and hw) divisions were the minor leagues
