Max needs no fights at lightweight to fight for the title. He just needs to be the best fight to make at the time.

I hope Max and Dustin rematch at some point. They're both such better fighters now. Max is much harder to take down than he was, so there's reason to pick him. But Dustin is much better on the feet than he was, so there's still reason to pick him. Also Holloway isn't a 1-punch KO kinda guy, so Dustin doesn't have to worry about his chin like he would against a Michael Johnson or a Conor McGregor. I think I'd pick Holloway to win a close fought striking match, maybe even getting a late TKO from accumulative damage.
