Explains his good chin. Lets see Conor try to knock it off

The dead dog in the beginning of the video is sad.

God that’s some of the stupidest lifting I’ve ever seen.

Explains why most fighters get hurt all the time.

I ALWAYS LIFT WITH MY BACK!

I like to rollerblade while i do my deadlifts, but to each his own i guess

I dont think the stability ball actually does anything.

Robbing himself of gains because he could be doing more weight without it.

This guy is certifiable. What was he doing, deadlifting 300lbs+ on a stability ball. Those knees were going everywhere.

I'll disagree with that statement.

It works a lot of stabilizer muscles that wouldn't get worked otherwise.
Not hating, and you're right, he could lift more weight without it.
But in fighting is about how much you can lift dead weight?
Or how much you can lift a squirming guy who doesn't want to get slammed?

Heavy deads on a balance ball? Bending at the spine to lift?

And is that last exercise specifically for crunching his neck vertebrae together as much as he can?

Has this guy had an MRI on his spine? I slipped a disc just watching him do that shit.

All these people graduated from the Tony Ferguson academy of Fitness:

Tony is the kinda guy who believes what doesnt kill you makes you stronger...

Stabilization is great, but in context. When you are lifting heavy weights with a compound movement like deads, you want to be as stable as possible to maintain form. The whole point of stabilization techniques are to disrupt your balance, forcing you to stabalise. This means your legs shifting weight, which means your hips adjust, forcing your spine to switch the load from left to right. That's the last thing you should be doing with a deadlift. More is not always better.

That is laughably stupid and dangerous.

Definitely agree trying to dead lift heavy weight on those boards is dumb.
Like you said, spine snapping potential.
But lifting a lighter weight that's comfortable i would think has benefits.

I don't lift, Inset quote or image.
So i really can't argue against much with that.
I do climb a lot which is a totally different physique and physical requirements. Along with downhill MTB and cross country MTB.

Gains? Dont think hes looking for mass gains, more like mucle stability/balance gains.
