people like to say it's only 1lb but cutting the last 1lb is the hardest and most taxing lb to cut. barboza made the weight and put his body through the extra taxation to cut it, it sucks Lee didn't also.

1lb at the start of a cut is not the same as the very last 1lb of the cut. in a 5 round fight, that COULD play a factor.

it didn't here, because lee mollywhopped Barboza, but the "it's just 1lb" thing is silly

It's stupid that people even take note of it at all. Weight cutting is literally just a ritual. That one extra pound would be gone in 45 minutes of cutting if allowed. Didn't affect shit.
