Kevin Lee: "Barboza is best striker"

he would kill Conor... You honestly think Conor would ever get up after being taken down? he hardly has gas tank for 3 rounds as it is... Yall are fucking crazy if you think that 1) conor can defend even 1 takedown or 2) that conor would get up after being taken down, or 3) that conor would have any gas left if he somehow survived to the 2nd round by khabib or lee.

Neither killed barboza who has worse tdd and can’t handle pressure at all. You conveniently ignore that threatening the td means exposing themselves to ko range.

He handled takedowns pretty well against Alvarez whos better than Khabib or Lee.

Are you kidding? Alvarez is the biggest joke in the fucking division... He is good at nothing and decent at everything.. He should of never gotten the chance at the belt to begin with, he for sure goes down as the worst LW champion ever... Hes a LW Chris Leben with having a few more brain cells so he can adjust a bit during fights... He is neither a great striker nor a great wrestler and that is perfect for a precision striker like Conor...
 
best kicker =/= best striker

Barboza although he lost vs Lee and Khabib has heart and no quit in him.
Conor would get wrecked by Lee or Khabib.. Conor has no heart..
Barboza IS one of the best strikers (If he doesn't get taken down).
His mistake with Lee was in the 3rd when he had Lee on wobbly legs.
He should have given Lee space then kicked him again..and then followed up with punches.
Barboza lost this fight because he allowed Lee to control the center of the octagon and Lee was able to pin Barboza on the fence and take him down.

LOL. You just say that to dimish Conor's performance against him. Alvarez is one of the best. Khabib is biggest joke in the fucking division. Beat ranked 15 guy for the belt and has only fought once against top 5 guy (Barboza). He has nothing else but his wrestling.

Barboza has much better takedown defense than Conor McGregor lol.
 
Barboza's boxing is too lacking for him to be the best striker.
Kicks are the best in the division though
 
His striking is better than Conors. He was getting whooped and was a spinning back kick away from putting Lee away. Also, you can't take too many leg kicks from Barboza once he gets going. Conor may have the KO power in his hands, but Barboza has it in his hands and feet. Thus, I'd bargain to say that Barboza is the overall better striker.

That's getting a little old. That was when I joined this site wtf lol. People still bringing it up like it wasn't short notice and Conor wasn't improvising.
