Which is the biggest sonning you have ever seen?

Cormier talked a lot of trash, even though he is the older guy and should be more mature. Jon Jones then beats Cormier two times, poked Cormier in the eyes, proved to be a better wrestler and striker, made Cormier cry on open TV and then even felt sorry enough for Cormier to comfort him. That was a true adoption and there can be no doubt that Cormier became Jones's son that day.

In boxing, we saw yet another case of the younger guy making the older guy his son. Malignaggi talked so much shit to both his own girlfriend and Broner. His girlfriend then left him for Broner, Broner beat him in front of her and the entire world and Malignaggi started crying "don't talk about my side piece!". Malignaggi learned who his father was that day. Broner came to his town, took his belt, took his girl and made him whine.

What Conor did to Alvarez

Conor pretty much humbled Alvarez where Alvarez picks Conor to win in every fight prediction now when someone asks Eddie about him

Even when someone asks Eddie about Khabib vs. Conor prediction, Eddie says "man, if Khabibs stands straight up like that, he won't handle a left from Conor, Conor will catch him"

before that, Conor was "the easiest guy in the room"

Seriously, is that what you call a sonning? "Everyone" is not personal enough to be a sonning.

Royce Gracie truly made Ken Shamrock his son.
1: He beat him easily in UFC 1, and even got to yell at Shamrock while he was on the floor.
2: He retired from UFC 3, which made Shamrock ragequit.
3: Royce Gracie got away with a draw at UFC 5, despite Shamrock doing more damage.
4: Many years later, Royce Gracie kicked Shamrock in the balls and was still declared the winner by knockout.

I love Shamrock, but damn, that sonning must have been traumatizing...
 
Sonning basically refers to owning someone like they are your child or at worst making them your bitch.

Nothing in MMA history beats this.

“Sonning” is fucking hilarious. Let’s add levels of sonning, like biological sonning is the highest degree. Mark Coleman sonned Rogan pretty good, at least adoption-level. If someone can provide the gif (no time at work)
 
Diaz "sonning" McGregor at UFC 196 will always live in infamy, and that's coming from a huge Conor fanboy.

Conor said only pussies try taking the fight to the ground, yet he tried that very thing after getting lit up and pressured by Nate Diaz. He said he'd be willing to die in the octagon if need be, yet he couldn't tap out fast enough once Nate wrapped his arm around his neck.

Ironically, a much more humble fighter in Holly Holm actually DID elect to pass out rather than tap out in the co-main event right before it, but the massive shit talker that talked about never quitting tapped out as soon as the submission hold got applied.
 
Randy Couture putting Tito over his knee and paddling him was something else.
