“But I’m under no illusion that this fight isn’t 50-50 still. He’s an amazing athlete. He’s an amazing fighter, and he was hella annoying to fight the first time, so I’m looking forward to a real annoying fight the second time.

It's weird to hear a champ say anything other than, "I'm going to beat him."
To say it's 50-50 is honest, cautious, and different.

Nobody in this subforum knows who either of those guys are, BTW.

I dont know who either of those guys are

Who? What?

Is this about tennis?

Whittaker is p4p top 5 right now and the most humble fighter in MMA by miles. He is a diehard fans dream fighter basically. War Bobby Knuckles.

So how do these guys compare to Conor?

He knows it's a tough fight, but it seems like he should believe that he is the best and fight like it. Humble is good, but the best mindset for a fighter is to be the best, not 50/50. Imo

wait one of those guys went to the Olympics right?

fuzzy memory

can ts please provide pics of said fighters?
All you need to know is Rousey has 9 finishes by armbar.

Robert has two finishes by armbar, and Yoel has never submitted anyone in a professional fight.

Yoel obviously has no chance since he’s a one trick pony, but with only two finishes by armbar, Robert isn’t going to have an easy night.

And it goes without saying neither fighter could hold a candle to Ronda. :D

you joking? this is a mma forum who the fuck would join and not watch mma

Most of those guys haven't set foot in the Heavies since it was still called the Heavies. If ever.
