If so how far did you go and was it worth it?

I have not yet, but perhaps for the right card.

I live in Ontario. I drove three hours to Detroit and flew to Vegas to go see PRIDE FC's "Real Deal" for a three day weekend. Was worth it.

I almost went to Boston for UFC 220 since I live in Massachusetts, but I ended up not doing it.

I went from US/MA all the way to RIo (Brazil) for UFC 147...
Booked flights, hotel...

...and fucking Dana moved the event to Belo Horizonte...
Had to watch the fights from the Hotel TV....

but the beaches made up for a good time/good vacation :D

I went to Vegas a few years ago only to realize Pettis vs Bendo was in Milwaukee.

Did you get an apology from Dana?

Flew to Detroit for 1 and Vegas for 1. It was okay. Watching it at home is better (personal fully loaded kitchen, cheaper booze and whatnot, personal clean bathroom {one hopes}, not arrested for watching the fights in your boxers, etc.). Going to Vegas and mingling and shit can be pretty cool, but make sure you're up for it.

hahahaha
I wish it came along with my money back, but the plane tickets & hotels were non-refundable.

If I recall, there was a UN meeting in Rio, and UFC assessed that there wouldn't be enough free hotels for everyone...
I disagree. That city lives off of tourists, and the UN conference ended the Friday before the event.... then again, who am I to disagree with mighty UFC???

I was pissed though.

Wanted to see Wandi & Franklin and Werdum.....

It's worth it. Going to Vegas or NYC or Chicago (places like that). It gives you a cool vacation with the added bonus of attending fights.

Are you Mackenzie Dern? If yes, PM me - I won't blow your cover, but I can't say the same for...<{ohyeah}>

No, not a fighter at all...
If I was, then Dana would probably fly me to Belo Horizonte ;)

Went to Montreal a few times for the UFC.

2 1/2 hour drive from where I live,
but I stayed the night because of Montreal's strip club....

Almost traveled to my desk once, then decided to stay in bed.

Went from Ohio to Toronto for UFC 165. It was around 9 or 10 hour drive we made a week out of it. The event was fun I'd do it again

I drove 7 hours to Denver in Jan 2017.
That was the Francis vs Arlovski, Ceronne/ Masvidal .
Been to a couple Bellator fights as well.

I thought it was worth it but have to say I personally enjoyed the Bellator events better. The areana was smaller. I was closer to the fights and you were allowed to go to the tunnel and give high fives to the fighters coming out .
