Fabricio Werdum was the only fighter to make more than $5000 off the UFC Athlete Outfitting program.

Unsurprisingly, Fabricio Werdum stands head and shoulders above the rest of the roster with $15,000 for his 20th fight with the promotion. Fun fact: fights 21 and above get him in the highest $20,000 per fight payment tier. Everyone else on the card? Sitting in the $3500 to $5000 range for their 1 to 10 fights in the UFC.

The total amount paid out for UFC Fight Night: Werdum vs. Volkov sits at $96,500 which is the lowest payout of the year so far.

I'm not the biggest fan of unions, but it's news like this that makes me feel they are necessity. Reebok paid a whopping $96K in total for over 8 hours of fighters wearing their brand.

On the other hand, a bitcoin company paid Rory McDonald $250 K for his fight in Bellator. The UFC hates its fighters.

At least they get that 50 percent discount.

The Reebok deal was the worst thing to happen to the UFC.

Ya that should say it all.

Left wing socialist will be here any minute to say it’s great pay and they should be happy with it.

It's the worst mistake the UFC ever did for its brand. Fighters should have the right to get money from endorsements. Reebok is a low tier company that is being forced on the fighters.

If the UFC really wanted to do a deal like this, they should've done it with a higher tier company like Nike or Adidas. At least those companies could afford to pay the fighters much more than what Reebok is paying.

I'm certain any true fan of the sport thinks the reebok deal is shit and while things could change, I get the impression that Nike and Adidas don't want their brand associated with the sport.

Under Armour at the time had GSP and Nike had Anderson and Jones so you'd think one of those companies would have sign to UFC

I mean, Nike has sponsored UFC fighters in the past like Jon Jones. Not sure about Adidas though.

Card was decent, I usually don't even consider or notice Reebok, sans Sherdog.

But the reebok deal is GREAT for the fighters they make money without having to search for sponsors!

Reebok killed it. Bring back tap out shirts affliction and titos brand whatever the fuck that is. They've been greedy and it's to their detriment.

it was an awful card, was broadcast on Fight Pass only, was on St. Patricks day, etc etc etc

Reebok was nice enough in simply giving kits out to the fighters

in all seriousness, if there was one card that would have lowest reebok payment, wouldn't it be this one???

Is that a mistake or Verdum really got paid $15,000? What a joke of a company.

So what? Europe gets shit cards with unknown fighters. Even shittier Reebok money.

yes and under armour did the same for gsp. the difference is in that circumstance is they have their brand on an athlete that wins 95% of the time and can sell the idea that their apparel had some part in that. the current situation with full promotional coverage like reebok is having to support a chump like Angela Magana who rarely wins and the illusion that the brand makes a fighter a better athlete is squandered.
