"Something didn't feel right" is my new favourite excuse

According to Jimi Manuwa, "something didn't feel right" against Volkan, Rumble and Gus (funny how that happens against the 3 best guys he has fought). He could tell something wasn't right even during the walk in. He wasn't able to "flow properly".

I understand you need a certain amount of ego to be a pro fighter, but how can you truly grow as a MMA fighter if you just try to explain your losses away with some vague "I didn't feel right" excuse instead of taking the loss, analyzing your mistakes and learning from it?
 
Dudes chin can’t hold up with heavy hitters at 205 and has no grappling to fall back on. That’s the issue.
