Why did the UFC make GSP sign a contract saying that he would unify vs Whittaker if he beat Bisping?

Has this ever happened before with any other fighter? And if so, when?

Cause they were scared he would bail on not competing against the true number one contender of the division, which was precisely what he did anyway. Just so happens he had a bad injury that no one could prove, how convenient.

cause ey feared he do what he ended up doing.

gsp after winning the belt got sick really quickly.

Because that story in the news sold more PPV's

Loss via fear should be added to his record.

Because we just had Conor win and refuse ro defend two belts, they didn't want GSP to hold a division hostage too

Toner still trying to convince himself that GSP isn't the goat by making a thread for all his haters? What a suuuuuurprise.

Try harder toner. you're obviously not convinced yet.

There is nothing to convince oneself of. That GSP is not "the GOAT" is a fact.

In fact, GSP belongs to a second tier of greats: it's even hard to consider him a "great", given he went 5 years without finishing a single fight against mediocre competition.

GSP never intended to unify. But I think thats a standard when there is an interim title out.

Why can't he just legitimately have a medical conditon? Doubters and haters galore

Why do you call him toner? Genuine question.

In the randy and bj days this kind of clause wasn't needed because those guys would fight whoever.
