Cormier busy fighting Stipe, Gus and Manuwa are Latifi's training partners so those fights won't happen. Only options left are: Volkan, Teixeira, Shogun, Rockhold maybe?

It would be a war in the stand up, but is Shogun's TDD good enough to neutralize Latifi's wrestling?
 
Would be interesting. First I thought Shogun just knocks out Latifi, but then when thinking about it Latifi could take Shogun down, and Latifi isn't terrible standing so it wouldn't be 100% risk free for Shogun standing either.

Shogun via CB violence. Probably not at this stage of his career but I will support Wand and Shogun to the very end.

For one, it's Moose!

Two, it was short notice.

Three, nowhere near the shape he is in now.

Four, first UFC fight. First fight Jitters anyone?

And finally...

Still went the distance!!

Not sure he would win, but a rematch today would be a different fight.
 
It was a short notice fight against Mousasi, where Latifi had to go through one hell of a weight cut.

Not fair to judge him as a fighter based on that debut.
 
Why do some fanz talk of Shogun like he's still Pride Shogun?

THANK YOU! I thought i was the only one noticing this. People in another thread were putting him in the picture for the title and discussing whether him or Gus deservs the next titleshot and i was all like "wtf?"
