All the voting panelists are terrible, but this guy in particular stands out in his offensiveness. This is why the UFC is not a reputable sports organization. You will never find someone claiming Eugenie Bouchard is a top seeded tennis player just because she's marketable.

Stipe is getting no love.

In the true sense of pound for pound, the two double weight class champions being at the top of the list makes sense.

The UFC's P4P ranking is a joke, because it's based on popularity (votes by the media) instead of actual measurable skills.

Based on FightMetric and Sherdog's statistics on fighters' skills in striking, standup grappling, and ground grappling, this is what the P4P rankings would look like:

Lol Who the Fuck makes these lists? The baddest man on the planet is ranked 13 lmao.

Not when the second title shot was not earned by fighting through top contenders. If Conor had to fight through the top contenders at LW (Ferguson, Khabib, Barboza) to get a title shot, he would have most likely lost.

In the true sense of pound for pound, Conor is a bigger guy than everyone he's beaten except the second Nate fight. DJ is the real p4p fighter. Hes the smallest guy in his division and the GOAT of it. There's no fighter his size that's on his level.

In that case, Cormier has the best claim for p4p best because he's dominated two divisions towered by giants.

He's king of the nobody division. Only future hall of famer he has fought is Cruz and he lost. If he beats TJ that would add a lot more credibility to his legacy.

Hypothetical. He beat the at the time champ.

Holloway defends his belt and moves down, McGregor goes inactive and moves up. Seems legit.

Someone gets it.....Conor at 1 is a fookin joke.

So the list includes former fighters too?

I think Conor is great and takes more heat than he should. That said as far as P4P goes all of his opponents have had less reach than him except one. Nate (1-1)

Why even bother paying attention to the shit lists they put out tho, you can't take them seriously.

Only to people who don't watch the sport and have no idea about the context.

GSP has one fight in 4 years & he is no. 2.
MM fought & won 9 times in 4 years, yet he is no. 6.
No wonder people like MM & Stipe are antagonistic towards dana & co...
Why do we even follow this sport?

They must be drunk when they made this shit. Stipe never gas out that much he is the best and DJ. They are working and playing this game not sitting on bench
