Yoel Romero is an A-level athlete, 5'10 and 200-210 lbs on a good day, surely his size would be enough. Joe Rogan has recently alluded that american football is a combat sport, so Romero's overall skillset would be a good fit. Would 6 months of training be a good time frame for him to crossover to the NFL ?

He's 40 bruh

Maybe could have been a hard hitting safety if he started football in High School....

somebody is vastly underestimating the talent and athleticism of NFL players.

People don't just pick up football and walk into the NFL kid

Considering, at his size, he'd be playing in the secondary, slot receiver or a small running back - all HIGH contact positions - he'd need the type of training that would be able to send him back in time about 25 years.

He's a 40 yo who doesn't play the game and you want him to tackle much larger people almost half his age??? What kind of silly assessment is that? He could more likely find work as a conditioning coach as an mma, wrestler rather than a player.
