According to Rogan, after the Stipe fight his people said he doesnt train on the ground because he doesn't like it. He prefers striking...WTF kinda championship title fight prep it that? I wish someone would have to me that last week.

UFC Performance Institute doesn't do ground fighting because fans prefer stand and bang.

He’s been training for like 5 years. Even if he had been training ground stuff, it wouldn’t be enough to stop someone that’s been wrestling their whole life.

There could be a Sherdog Ngannou fanboy as educated as Jackson Wink; and even he would check his privilege by making no suggestions to Francis Goatandnew.

His "people" are doing damage control for franc....
Rogan is aiding in this because he was made to look like an idiot...

Stipe made ngannou look like a fool in the fight when he was hyped to run through him

Dude looked completely demoralized from the end of the 2nd round on...no swagger, no confident look on his smug face

People can say it's cause he doesn't train this or that or he underestimated the reigning multiple time defending champ on the cusp of history (lmao what an arrogant idiot if true btw)
But the truth is obviously....

Ngannou has never faced a beast like stipe, better boxing, supreme chin, strong as a ox with a indomitable will

Ngannou ego is getting in the way of admitting it...which is a recipe for stagnation as a fighter

Also, have you heard that ngannous dad was a world renowned street fighter on the streets of cameroon?

.... Rogan is a jagoff

Brock didn't let people hit him in the face during training, and he still got the HW belt and defended it twice.

askren is the ugliest motherfucker this world has ever seen, I believe

and damn what a bummer by ngannou, I was on the hypetrain and it crashed and burned. couldn'rt watch it live so when I saw now that there were a huge time left for the end of the video I already realized what happened. damn shame. but props for miocic, UFC HW GOAT
why the fuck ngannou was so fucking eager to finish the fight in the first round with all that wasted movement makes me wonder

So, he doesn't train on the ground, and he is not even a good striker (very bad form).

It is a amazing how somebody with so little athletic experience can just train a couple of years and contend in the UFC.

The talent pool in MMA is so shallow. I don't respect any of these so called "HW GOATs."

Well obviously having huge amounts of power makes up for lack of experience - until you meet wrestling/grappling.

listened to the following 3 minutes of Askren speak after Joe's comments and it's a god damn shame that because of fucking BLAF aka The Baldfather aka Dana fkn White, that we didn't get to see Askren in the octagon. He's perhaps the greatest talent to never step foot in the octagon aside from Fedor.

If true, Ngannou might just be the dumbest person to ever fight for a UFC title

Yes because Joe Rogan in the omniscient narrator of anything mma related and can see all and hear all

But of course the guy knows his weakness. Surely he is training SOME shit on the ground. But up till now it wasn't as important as his main weapons - which are fucking brilliant.

That’s a great way to prepare for a fight with the baddest man on the planet.
