The Struve fight was a weird finish. You can see even in the gif here that he slipped a couple of times, and was off balance right before he got hit flush.

He actually has a damn solid chin.

This. He was buzzed big time just about every time he got touched. Stipe has a good chin and that's why it was just buzzed, not flat out queer street. And then what Sapp describes took place each of the 4 or so(?) times it happened.

Hitting in the ear isnt that good of a spot because it's center-line of head and doesn't cause the snap needed for KO. Although when Francis hits you anywhere it can it's just not the best place is all like how many ear KO you seen?- in front of ear (chin) and behind are much better.

If you watch the Struve gif carefully, the punch that rocked him landed while his right leg was up in the air a few inches, trying to find a balance after the slip, so he had no support whatsoever to absorb the punch. After that, it was almost impossible to recover.

Struve hit him often Ngannou only caught him with single shots. If you hits a guy often enough in a row especially if he is in a bad position anyone can ko anyone. Mighty Mouse could knock Stipe out if he hits him often enough

Chin is bizarre = Referencing to a fight that happened half a decade ago when Stipe was green and didn't know how to deal with a 7ft fighter with a 7 feet reach, and where he was TKO'ed not out cold.
