I mean, I've never seen any children at a UFC event, except for that one time Pettis brought his niece to a card. I see NFL, NBA, MLB and even WWE events cater to children for the most (except those late night halftime dancers). I dont even think Rousey brought in a younger crowd.

Is MMA really to brutal for general audiences, or we truly neanderthals for watching this!?

My kid and my nephew do, but they got into to it through me and train now. They're 11 and 6.my 6 year old has to watch replays and no post fight interviews

I think most highschoolers or even middleschoolers know the "big names" like Conor and Ronda. Doubt many kids that age follow it religiously like us old men.

I started watching when I was 13/14 and I'm damn near 40 now. I"d have to assume that there are still kids into it today.

They watch things that cater to them like Power Rangers, WWE and FLWs

Can't speak for children nowadays, but I started watching Boxing around 8 yrs old.
Became an mma fans in my late teenage year.

So I could see a lots of kids liking mma.

Yeah I let me 4 year old watch but it has to be a reply. No nasty ko's or anything. I like explaining the grappling then we wrestle.

Being at a UFC event is tough for kids. Many are held in Las Vegas in casinos, so not really a kid friendly environment.
It's also a night life kind of event to me, so after it ends, people are going to want to party and enjoy what each city has to offer.

I have noticed in the last few years that the overall casual fan base is skewing younger.
Oh hell, if WME/UFC starts marketing to kids, Sherdog will be a shitstorm!

I went to the UFC STL event with some friends and there were multiple kids under 10 I said to my friend I find it odd a kid can't watch rated R movies but are allowed in these events. The youngest was right by us probably 4-5, doesn't bother me much just thought it was a little odd given the content.

I rarely see children at any UFC event.

Sometimes babies, but they are brought by their stupid parents.

i think we have clear proof of it...

judging by the amount of fans conor has

I started watching mma on Nov 12,1993 when I was 14 and boxing after watching Hagler/Leonard in I think 1985.I wrestled since I could walk, boxed a bit and did some martial arts so it was all very interesting to me.I'm pretty sure half of Sherdog will be doing homework tonight.

Judging by the intelligence and social skills of the people on this board i would say the fanbase is almost all young teens.
