How can you respect this guy as a fighter? We all know he will come back only for the gatekeeper trilogy. He will never fight Tony or Khabib because he knows they will push his shit in. Also, there has never been a champion in ANY sport that never defends his titles.

I can answer that. First of all he participates in possibly the most intimidating & dangerous sport in the world. Second he engages in the most vicious mental warfare against some of the world's most notorious killers and more often than not finishes the job by knocking them senseless and finally he figured out how to make hundreds of millions of dollars, a feat never before achieved by a mixed martial artist in a career that leaves most maimed & broke.

He did all of this by deciding what he wanted in life, this would have never happened if he tried to live to the standards or trying to gain the respect of randoms like yourself.

I respect him as a fighter. He did get in the cage and KO Aldo. He also got in the cage with Alvarez and KO's him too. I do not respect him as a champion. 4 Titles in his MMA career and not 1 title defense.
