Stephens after that war with cub? Wtf is that building

Fault on his manager or the mediocre Sean shelby?

You will never see that in boxing, what a waste!
they killed my man, I’m so angry.

They truly did fuck him up in terms if match making. He went from top 87 thiago Tavares to top 10 or 5 guys? Dumbasses

Dana just sending a message to North Korea for his buddy Trump.

Most people thought he was up for the task.

Oh well. Give him some lower ranked guys to KO and get back some confidence.

I like the guy, but most Asian fighters, sans KZ, just don't live up to the hype in UFC. I hope I'm wrong about him. He's really fun to watch.

Yea...bad move in retrospect. They should seriously give him like 3 cans in s row to regain his mojo

Yeah, guys no Conor unfortunately back to the prelims buddeh.

Pfft it's the kids own fault, he was drinking his own koolaid. He called out Cub, and prolly felt Stephens was just as beatable.

Fuck him
He was never shit

If you are the next big thing you don't go to hell and back with an old aging Cub Swanson
And that's putting it lightly
Because people talk about that fight like it was a war
It was a one sided ass kicking for 3 rounds all coming from Cub

It's all fun and games knocking out Sam Sicilia and Tavares
It's all fun being the hammer

It was a one sided ass kicking for 3 rounds all coming from Cub
I think that's a little bit of an exaggeration. It was a good back and forth fight, I'm not sure DHC won a round though.

The same people who loved him are now saying in this thread that is shit

Good definition of casual fans

It was his fault, he was talking about getting a titleshot before military service. He asked for that. UFC agreed and gave him a short way for the title. Didn't worked well for him.

You gotta remember most people thought he was ready for that, he was the favorite, didn't he? So it's not on the UFC, it's about the fans aswell, people hype the shit of the prospects and always think they will beat these old vets, but they forget these guys have been there for long for a reason. Experience matters, too.

He was ranked 13 I believe. Stephens 9th, I believe.

Seems like a good call out.

But, I expected that DHC would have shored up his defence. And made other changes to his game in the one year since his last fight.

Very disappointed to see what appeared to be ZERO positive changes.

They did similar thing to Max Holloway and look where he is now.
I am not worried for the "Superboy".
