I remember watching Phil Baroni live and be on the edge of my seat going "damn this guy doesn't give two f**ks and throws heavy leather at anything"
But that was only in the first round.
Once i saw Baroni didn't get his opponent out of the first, I always got the feeling he's going to fade, the power shots are losing their snap, He's chances of winning are sinking by the minute, etc...
Don't get me wrong, Platinum Perry is a much more well rounded fighter than Baroni was in his prime, and he has plenty of time to improve, but seems like he has shades of NYBA out there. Same type of entertaining wildman with dynamite fists. Hope he'll bounce back soon.
