Ppv points for champions?

Do all UFC champions get pay per view points? I know mighty Mouse negotiated a guarantee rather than ppv points when he became champion but do the rest automatically get to ask for ppv points? I thought that was the norm the last couple years

I think it's standard unless you do what MM did and ask for the flat fee. He probably recognized the realities of PPV, which is to say he was not going to be a star who pulls big numbers.

Obviously it depends on each individual's contract. FYI, MM now gets ppv points.

So now he owes the UFC even more money.
