almost. Reems head movement was faster. Almost like his head anticipated that upercut.

Tyson: Rear uppercut
Ngannou: Lead uppercut

Both were ruthless, but there are more comparable examples out there for sure.

Did he not catch Arlovski with a similar strike to drop him also?

At least Tyson's victim had defenses in place

Overeem basically asked to be KO'd with that bullshit

at least tyson victim got up after that punch.

Get off Francis Dick now!!!!
Did you not get the memo ??

It's worship Ortega week now

The way Reem was caught was actually more like you'd typically get when someone counters a lowkick well, what came to mind for me was....

How do you figure? Overeem actually moved in to throw and land a left shift hook pretty intelligently, with his head off-centre and more or less as far as possible from N'Gannou's dominant hand.

It's simply not possible to move in and throw offence without opening yourself to some danger; the fact N'Gannou was able to eat Reem's shot and KO him with a lead uppercut off his non-dominant hand speaks more to N'Gannou's physical attributes than Overeem's strike – which landed clean – being “bullshit”.
