  • Big talkers and grudge matches sell fights.

  • Woodley-Diaz is NOT a grudge match.

  • Nobody knew who Chael Sonnen was before the first Anderson Silva fight, and then Sonnen turned it on and made both himself and A. Silva into superstars.

  • Covington completely gets the game, and has been delivering AAA quality promos over the last few weeks.

  • Nate Diaz isn't that great of a talker as everyone thinks, and McGregor actually did for him what Sonnen did for A. Silva (made him into a star; Diaz was a midcarder prior to the McGregor fights).

  • The casual audience will have some interest, but the hardcore audience is going to bury a Woodley-Diaz fight so hard that it will impact the buyrate.

  • Covington is the next major superstar if he can beat Woodley.

  • Look around on Sherdog; Covington is all the rage (reminiscent of McGregor prior to UFC 189 and Sonnen before the first A. Silva fight).

Only sherdog knows who Colby is. All the casuals that buy ppvs have no clue who Covington is.

Diaz is the bigger name, gotta go with Diaz.

Colby is good for at least 500k buys just by himself.

Colvington should get the shot based on the fact that he's an actual ranked WW.

Colby is a bigger draw than Mcgregor.

Only brazil knows who colby is.

I doubt globo makes a shit ton of ppv buys buddeh

GSP should be next.

Yeah, i said it.

(or wait for the Lawler vs RDA winner)

Thread title doesnt match the poll though

Colby should be removed from the roster. Dude should never get the opportunity.

Id rather to give conor, nick diaz or anyone else whos done nothing, than reward this piece of shit

Hmm lets see...Should it be the rightful WW contender who beat the previous #2 ranked fighter (Maia)

or should it be the Lightweight who is coming off a loss, refusing all matchups presented because he doesn't want to get another L and lose the McGregor trilogy

Tough decision man. I honestly can't decide.

Diaz isn't even a draw, Tyron just wants an easy fight that he thinks will lead to a "money fight" with McGregor. The guy is the UFC's worst nightmare as a champ. A generally boring fighter with no personality that ducks contenders in his own division. Ultimately, he will end up fighting Covington because he has no leverage on the UFC.

nobody knew who sonnen was yes but anderson turned him into something relevant dont get it twisted...

And lol at all the Sherbitches whining and moaning about Diaz Woodley fight in its own thread, yet picking Diaz-Woodley in this poll against an actual WW contender-WW champion fight.

Somebody thinks Colby is a good talker?
