Can you listen to UFC PPV's on the radio?

I dont believe so unless your right by the event. They do have these little fm broadcast recievers that they sell at the fights to listen to the commentary but i dont know that its provided externally. You would probably have to stream it and listen that way.

Not no more.

I haven't seen one of those for over a year now.

They were the best, perfect for drowning out drunk idiots screaming stupid stuff out.

WME shut that down.

Really? I actually thought it was a pretty cool idea but kinda kills the point of going to the event. I still have one somewhere...

Personally I loved those things.

You wouldn't need to buy a new one each event, just save your old one and as long as the battery still works you're good to go.

Then when the battery dies, you buy a new one. Then use that box with the old one and return it for your money back.

What people don't know is that he has very underrated BJJ.

What he needs to do here is-it's tight! It's over! Nope, he escaped.

Ohhh, he is rocked!

It is allll over.

There you go.

World class stand-up! On another level.... and OH! she's been KO'd.

There was a live UFC fight stream called by Goldie and Rogan on a local AM sports station a few years ago, tuned in by luck while driving and enjoyed hearing it. Overall though, UFC seems to have disappeared from conventional radio entirely, they don't even cover it in sports news or anything. There used to be an MMA talk show late at night on an area big-city FM sports station but that show hasn't been on in years. It's disappointing. If anyone knows of a show on NBC, Westwood 1 or Fox Sports Radio I'd love to know about it.

To this day, I don’t understand how people can listen to a baseball game on the radio. I’d rather listen to a chess match.

TS is the kinda guy that tunes in for the media calls too.

This thread has reminded me that radio was once a thing. It genuinely surprises me to discover that it is STILL a thing

Even if you could, what's the fucking point? Do you also listen to porn TS?

Now I see why you got banned in the first place. You are horrible.

Really? I've never been to a UFC event. Are you saying you can buy a little receiver with earbuds and be in the stands listening to the commentary? Thats pretty cool!

I would definitely listen to all the media calls IF they would fucking raise the standards. How hard is it to get the fighters some type of microphone and connect it to their phones in advance, and force whatever media who wants to be apart of the media call to do the same on their dime. I don't know shit about audio engineering but this can't be too much of an expense.

I'm guessing the media calls are more for the journalists to be able to create a bunch of articles afterwards... but if they stepped up the audio quality it could be a lot more than that
