A fighter misses weight and wins via Knock Out. Seems as if it vindicates their failure to be able to compete at a weight class.

There's not a big enough penalty for missing weight. They are docked 20% of their fight purse but they are still making money and that's better than nothing. They wouldn't get paid a dime if the fighter that made weight didn't accept the fight and I'm pretty sure that fighter will still get their show money. That would make fighters try a lot harder to make weight but it puts the other fighter in a bad position (looking bad as well as losing bonus/potential win money). The UFC/AC needs to figure that shit out.
