The greatest PPV draw in the history of PPV is Floyd Mayweather. The majority of the ppl that bought his ppv's did hoping he'd get his ass kicked.


I didn't give a shit abt Colby, prolly wouldn't care abt his next fight, but now imma watch just hoping he'll get his ass kicked.

It took Floyd awhile to build up that ppv power because he doesn't have a fan friendly style. His prestigious record and trash talk finally created interest for him to have a dramatic loss.

Conor blew up a lot quicker because he's so exciting to watch and let's be honest a lot funnier and witty than both Colby and Floyd.

Colby's trying but I don't know if he will be able to pull these things off.

Floyd was a boring point fighter he built his Ppv sales through hate not skill, Floyd without the money personality would have never been a draw with his fighting style

Just look at the reaction you the PAC fight people were pissed at the results of that fight and felt that it was the most boring fight ever despite Floyd fighting the same way he always has

Lazy is not doing your own homework.
Both are bullies who like to talk a lot, but when confronted, as good bullies, they wilt and run for cover.

Colby is ranked #3. Not unranked like Magana and hes won like 6/7 straight. I get that you are butt hurt but I don't think he crossed any lines.

It worked for Conor because he can back it up, but he can also do a lot more than talk trash. He is highly marketable for his overall appeal.

Colby definitely got the "hate" part of the equation down. Colby's problem is his "heel" character is not clever or funny. He's just a dick. He is not, nor will he ever be on the level of Conor or Chael as far as star and draw power.

It seems Colby is going the Chael route and he has shown charisma after he fights his opponents like when he hugged it out with Dong Hyun Kim but still shows much,much less charisma than both Floyd and Conor. I have always liked Floyd, I always thought he respected his opponents and just had to promote the fights or whatever same thing with Conor except Conor's a wee bit more rowdy with it. I agree,though. Being controversial is a smart financial decision in the entertainment business.

He is one of the most relevant fighters in the UFC right now. That is why everyone is talking about him. He is ranked 3rd at WW, getting the most attention and he has a firm spot in the front of your mind right now. Funny to see you do upset though.
