Alistair is a real legend and did a huge favor to MMA by knocking out an all time heavyweight great in Badr Hari. It was a little like Conor vs Floyd, but here MMA didn't get embarassed but triumphed.

Thanks Reem.

Everybody is on steroids. When are you gonna learn that? It’s not a matter of who, it’s a matter of who gets caught.
I do know that. That was the point.

It´s great when a catch-wrestler like Reem represents well... the MMA community...

Should be pointed out that Overeem is not just a mixed martial artist suddenly making a foray into kick boxing with this fight. He's a long time kickboxer and trained at Golden Glory for a great chunk of his career.

Conor was an amateur boxer aswell and has boxed since he was 12. Same situation.

I don't like either fighter, but like Hari considerably less so is satisfying.

Thanks.

Overeem at least had trained with great kickboxers for the majority of his career in the Netherlands. While Conor has boxed in basically the same sense that most MMA fighters have boxed, he had no legitimate experience against credible opponents and has never trained with any top talents for any significant t length of time. Overeem, on the other hand, chose to compete in MMA but trained with kickboxing greats on a daily basis for years.

Either way, it was a great moment (especially so since Badr is a renowned scumbag).

Except Overeem actually trained in a gym that has some of the greatest kickboxers in the world, even while doing MMA, AND his opponent although very dangerous, wasn't famous for having a good chin like Floyd has. An upset happening against Badr is MUCH more likely than vs. Floyd.

That old man at 4:03 in seems pissed he was woken from his nap.

Overeem is more of a kickboxer than McGregor is a boxer. McGregor wasn't taken serious that's why Mayweather walked him down, something Mayweather has never done in prior bouts. Badr took Overeem serious and as a serious threat.

I agree. Badr also took Overeem crossing into K-1 as an insult. This was about prestige more so than money, the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight was mainly about money.

Love the Japanese Announcer and Crazy Pride Lady.
