He's been teased as a new UFC signee for awhile know. Glad to see him finally in the UFC. He's skilled. 12-1 with 10 knockouts. 4 of those knockouts coming by way of spinning shit. He's last two wins are spinning hook kick knockouts, one of them over the corpse of Melvin Guillard.

Good fight. UFC has been signing heaps of Russian's lately. Time for a Russia FN event.

I hope he knows about USADA

Every time I see Melvin Guillard's name, I get pissed off when I think about what could have been:rustled:<41>

That run he had with Jackson's where he was like 6-0 in one year was his chance. He was going to fight for the title if he beat Lauzon and he blew it.

Awesome! Guy is a spinning shit specialist.

Now they have Islam and Muslim. I thought Dana and Trump were buddies.

Muslim Salikhov vs Wonderboy. Hope we get to see thins one.

I've posted this before, but I'll post again. I was at the fan expo the day he fought Lauzon. I got a picture with Guillard, and his autograph. What struck me as odd, was that he was the ONLY fighter that was fighting later that night that was at the expo.

I thought to myself that he should be mentally preparing, or resting at the very least. It was kind of like he thought the title shot was in the bag already. I knew that wouldn't bode well for him, and I was right. Lauzon wrecked him.

I knew on his walk out he was going to lose. He's always been a confident guy but that whole run he hadn't called anyone out, and then he called out Lauzon because it was "an easy fight on his path to a title shot". And then he loses. He got arrogant. Came out to the octagon dancing, had sunglasses on, etc.. The shitty thing is, with the way Frankie was getting dropped by like every person he fought back then, I think Melvin had a good chance at winning. Frankie wasn't much of a sub threat back then.

Yeah, at the expo, I wouldn't say he was cocky. He was too comfortable in my opinion. The result of that fight proved it. Melvin was never the same afterwards.

Frankie got dropped but he had amazing recovery and stamina. I think Frankie would have beat Melvin the way he handled Jeremy Stephens.

other than the shitty matchmaking for jingliang, i am very pleased with this card.

Back then, when Melvin dropped someone they usually weren't getting back up.

I seen a few of his fights, didn't even know the UFC signed him.Weird first fight for him,not that Garcia is great but he's a tough debut. He looks a little like Albert Tumenov
