not surprising why most people don't pay for PPV's... too much of a gamble on getting a card worth paying for.

I don't regret buying any of the cards this year, but man, lately i feel like the free cards are more exciting.

The main event tarnished by USADA.

The co-main was complete trash.

The Cyborg fight wasn't competitive.

stack the 2 fight night cards against the 2 ppvs... combined, the 2 fight nights are better.

The last two have been very exciting (especially Rockhold/Branch). But the PPVs are a different thing, altogether. We don't pay for exciting mma; we pay to see what happens to the biggest stars and best fighters.

No fucking way this was better than 214.

that's not untrue.

however, people don't want to spend their money to NOT be entertained.

Yeah, there's a spectrum. Excitement is a factor, but PPVs can't sell on excitement alone.

Godofredo Pepey vs. Jason Knight
Jessica Andrade vs. Rose Namajunas
Ponzinnibio vs. Cowboy
Ion Cutelaba vs. Gokhan Saki
Joe Lauzon vs. Edson Barboza

10/10 for excitement, but it wouldn't do 100k PPVs. The name value is much more important.
