Heard him say on the MMA hour he was going to use his wrestling next time.

That won’t work for more then maybe a round. And now he wants to fight Volkan.

Clearly ducking Gus.

Its true. He has said multiple times he never wants to fight him again.
 
He already beat him, so he's not ducking him to want to fight a new contender.

That said, etiher fight would be fun.
 
DC made it very clear & came right out & said gus gave him the fight of his life & he doesn't want to fight him again.

doesn't mean he won't... but it's not like top secret info he'd rather fight someone else.
 
it was just a single tweet, not sure if you can safely say he's ducking him. also, in of these ufc on fox videos he literally said he would be ok fighting fucking shogun, hahaha. I was a bit annoyed but the UFC would never make this fight anyway
 
DC is older now and coming off a brutal KO. Gus arguably beat DC last time and would most likely finish him if they fought again imo.
 
Would rather see the Volkan fight - Gus already had his turn.

Enough of this bullshit. If you can make weight for a weight class then you are in that weight class.

Sherdog logic: if a champion prefers to fight one worthy challenger whom he's never fought before, it means he is ducking a less worthy challenger whom he's already beaten. Glad we cleared that up.
 
just to make things clear, that SPLIT was bullshit between DC and Gus. DC beat Gus more convincingly than Jones this. It was a possible 4-1 for Cormier, and at the very least: 3-2 for Cormier. No business giving Gus 3 rounds in that fight whatsoever.

Glad we didn't end up with a fuck up there.

I don't understand why Gus turned his back and ran so much. Is it a European thing?

Someone should do a compilation of Gus, Conor, and Overeem running
