He had the original og feud with jones way before DC

He is also vindicated with his loss against jones .. and he went the distance

His beef with Jones is old news, and the fight was completely one-sided. Rashad then completely lost his base - he stopped wrestling in fights and decided to be a goofy power puncher. But then he stopped throwing punches.

He doesn't shoot and he doesn't strike and he's quite happy to let mid-tier MWs coast to a win. Most fighters out of their prime tend to go out in a blaze of stoppages and one sided beat downs...It's like Rashad resigned himself to still show up for the purse but without putting himself in any real danger of getting hurt.

There's no need to keep a fighter like that around, and definitely no need to remember him in 2017.

I was thinking about this last night. Talk about a guy who really got screwed over by the whole Jones thing. He was top dog at LHW for Jax/Winklejohn and then Jones shows up and suddenly he's off the team and has no belt...

Exactly

They Basically derailed his career in favour of a Roid cheating drug addict

Rashad has been done for years. his decline has been sad as he fell into the shadows slowly rather than went out in main events getting repeatably KO'd brutally like Liddell.

He wasnt before he fought jones

He wasn't before he had to change camps BECAUSE of Jones

Yeah he got screwed but they saw Jones was going to be their money tree and bet on the winning horse.

to be fair the dude blew out both his knees and has been plauged with injuries. despite the fact that hes years removed from his prime or even relevance I think he had a major change in his game following the knee injuries. couldnt explode with his shots anymore

Also hasnt the dude struggled to get cleared to fight multiple times? dude sounds so punch drunk nowadays seriously needs to retire.

I for one am glad that he twice ruined Jon's special night.
