MLB has become less interesting since the steroid era has passed. No one is smashing 60-70 home runs anymore. The UFC is falling victim to the same thing. Their best fighter, or one of is going to be banished. The UFC is losing steam and without guys like Jones they will not get the interest of fans, or at least casuals.

The only difference is the UFC doesn't have the history that the MLB has and people will always support their teams or at least jump on the band wagon when their team is doing well.

USADA is going to kill the UFC. It's the fighters that are to blame though. Get your shit together guys. Steroids has no place in sports. Legitimacy goes out the window.

Thoughts?

Stanton just may get to 60+.

Anyway like baseball PEDs in MMA was getting beyond out of hand. Steps were taken to clean it up and these are the results of trying to do so. We hoped it would be just the lesser named guys but knew big names would fall. I don't have any problem with USADA. They are doing what they were brought in to do. I just want them to get it right and not be wrong.

Athletes don't need PED's in baseball.
Half the time your fat ass is sitting in the dugout, waiting to bat.
The other half, you're out in the field waiting for the ball to come to you.
Your body is inactive for a majority of the game.

This guy is mad he couldn't make JV squad in high school

Everybody has taken peds at some point in life, at least in their collegiate wrestling times... what helped to develop them as fighters, no one is really "clean".

The other option is this kind of fights:

They changed the ball this year. Now they're hitting more home runs than in 2000, the height of the steroid era. MLB is going to shatter the total home run record this year.

it's so fucking stupid, because fighters would still be knocking each other out without the ped's. it's not as if fighters are incapable of doing that without added help. in mlb, guys were still able to hit home runs, just not as many. i think with baseball, there were other factors involved.

there was nothing going out of hand. dana and lorenzo wanted to make a killing by making the sport more "legitimate", so they went with USADA and reebok. boom, 4.5 billion. really worth it for them. in the process they destroyed the sport, fucked the fighters and the fans, but who cares?
