What if the ufc/usada made their own range of tightly controlled supplements and restricted fighters to the use of only those supplements?

Could this be a solution to the now standard tainted supplement defense?

Musclepharm is already on it. Even says on the label that it is safe for competition.

Or fighters could stop using supplements called HGH-X and use one of the dozens of reputable brands.

It would be a little risky, having a company create supplements they regulate could
A) Open the door for them to create banned items but make them "Allowable"
B) Use their power to essentially destroy other companies either by falsely marking them as unsafe/risky/tainted or pretty much forcing all athletes to take their supplement.

USADA should stay in the regulation game and UFC in the promotion one. Let other companies create the supplements and allow USADA to be independent when testing. Then perhaps, like Mongoose above mentioned, they can create products that can withstand scrutiny, to which they can then promote as "Safe for competition"

LOL if you believe that these guys are failing test because of 'tainted supplements.'

I don't but fighters are getting away with signifantly reduced penalties and some degree of doubt over whether or not they are cheaters by using the tainted supplement excuse.
