Relative nearness to Cleveland? A lot of the champ's homefolk would have gladly taken the 3 hour drive even through December weather and sold out the venue.

Miocic had said on July 29th that it was looking likely that the next time he would fight was in early 2018, but recently moved the estimate back and said on Submission Radio that he'd probably fight before the end of this year...
