Why is it, unacceptable? Why shouldn't people be allowed to enhance their performance with a supplement if need be? This goes for all sports. Why is PED use and the use of supplements in a sport not allowed. What makes it morally unacceptable or not allowed?! Why is it against the rules?

In my opinion sports could reach a new level if allowed to take peds.

Because its bad for your health in the long run. High blood pressure, heart failure, low testosterone. List goes on.

Because even though a lot of professional athletes use performance enhancing drugs, once you admit and allow it, you end up forcing everyone to do drugs. What happens with the clean fighters once they go up against top level athletes juiced to the gills?

Well in some cases yes. But used intelligently you should be fine. Plus isn't drinking and recreational drugs bad for your health too?! But yet people shit on peds for unhealthy they are but they in fact live a much in healthier life style.

So is fighting lol. The negative health effects of testosterone are overrated and actually side effects of heightened estrogen, which can be controlled

Because only chickenshit pussies need PEDs to be badasses.

And last time I checked this is a sport for real men, not chickenshit pussies.

Because talent and hard work should determine the outcome of competition not who's can afford the new set drugs.
IMO per cheats should lose all their money to the opponent just like Mark says. Take out the financial gain and people would have to stop doing it.

If everyone does it no body gets better and the fights just become more boring because there will be less knockouts and more boring split decisions.

Only people with very low IQs support PED use.

Do you know who Ewerton Teixeria is?

And even worse when the guys who take them are punching each other in the head for a living.

They decide to take them or fight without them. Steroids are not magic.

This is pretty much the only legit answer.

It's unfair to clean athletes. You know the ones who aren't cheater cowards?

But you're forcing other people to take peds if you're on them too. Not everyone reacts to peds the same. Its a very unfair advantage.

It's the only way to level the playing field, you really want unfair advantages in sport? What about the guys that can't afford the drugs because they're starting out? They're priced out of the game before they even start.

I can't believe people overlook this one. Drugs are going to significantly shorten the shelf life of the juicer's opponent.

Nobody will get better? PEDs aren't magic. You can't stop training and start taking PEDs and expect to get better at what you're doing.

It's dangerous for the fighters and it creates a playing field where the people with more money who can afford quality steroids have a leg up on the competition

I'm as disappointed in the way USADA is affecting the sport as the next guy but if the UFC is going to be viewed as even halfway legitimate they have to drug test

But why is it considered cheating and why are you a coward for taking a supplement to better yourself?
It's cheating because it's against the rules and it's cowardly because it's cheating
