Or is he already?

Woodley is right now sitting pretty at about 6-8 best fighter in the world P4P, with dominant wins over two of the best specialists in the sport. He's truly becoming a shutdown artist, that I feel like will be used and studied for a future generation of fighters on effective defense - in a lot of ways he's the Floyd Mayweather of MMA, a man who essentially ruled boxing for a decade

The question is at his age, can he win enough fights to be P4P number 1?

Or is he already there

I don't see anybody beating him for a long time.

No lmao you can't be a great when you're reigning supreme in a weak ass division where all the good fighters are elsewhere, like the last guy to beat that ass Rory Macdonald. Lima kills him, Koreshkov kills him, Larkin potentially wastes him, and Rory already whooped his ass severely.

Tyron Woodley destroyed Robbie Lawler, shut down Stephen Wonderboy Thompson for 50 minutes and shut down Demian Maia, what other champ is consistently taking on the best and number one contenders?

You can make a case he is already top 4-5 p4p and if he beats GOAT St-Pierre then you have to bump him up even further.

Woodley is the most boring fighter in history. For such a physical specimen to be so gun shy against someone like Maia who has virtually no striking (the tdd threat was gone after the 2nd round) is a joke. Some fighters just aren't meant to be champ. They can't handle the pressure and shell up on the big occasion. He went from putting Robbie asleep to putting the crowd asleep

Needs a way to revenge the Rory fight to do that.

So its doubtful, with that said Wonderboy is the only 170lber on the roster that could potentially beat him and I can't see them making that fight for a 3rd time as no one would watch.

He is a hell of a tactician, I'll give him that. He adjusts to his opponent's game plan and completely nullifies it. He is clearly a great fighter, but there is a difference between being "great" and being "entertaining"

Still heartbroken he slept Lawler. I knew there was a really good chance he would sleep Lawler and it sucked cuz he didn't even really deserve the shot to.

true
'member when champs faced the top competitors?
Woodley should rank higher than the guy who went boxing.

No. I think he will lose soon but in the fullness of time his sensational performance against Maia will be respected.

Lmao op is ridiculous

People will study Tyron like Floyd?

Ts has no respect for us

Nope. That'll never happen. All of the pro-Tyron Woodley campaigning and astroturfing isn't going to change that, either.

How's it going, Rory ?

Define astroturfing

"Astroturfing is the artificial creation of a grassroots buzz for a product, service or political viewpoint."

Woodley's fanbase is only made up of about three people. So in order to create the perception that interest in Tyron Woodley is higher than it actually is, you all coordinate with each other and flood the board with ridiculous pro-Woodley threads all at the same time. I suspect that actual members of the Tyron Woodley camp are involved in this plot.
